Summer Intensives 2025
Description: Each month, the musicians will meet every day M-Th for one week. During that week, we will learn 1 song from start to finish and keep our skills from the “school year” brushed up. Each session will be discreet, so if you miss one, you won’t be behind for the next one.
Summer Intensives are only open to existing Denton HSO musicians or other experienced players. New musicians are welcome to join us in the Fall.
Where: 2500 Tahoe Ln, Denton TX 76210
When:
- Current Beginner I & II:
- Rehearsals M-Th 12:00-1:00 PM
- Mini-concert Th 1:00-1:15 for limited friends and family
- Current Novice & Intermediate/Advanced:
- Rehearsals M-Th 1:30-2:30 PM
- Mini-concert Th 2:30-2:45 for limited friends and family
Session 1: May 19-22, 2025
Session 2: June 16-19, 2025
Session 3: July 14-17, 2025
Session 4: August 18-21, 2025
–All-region and all-state music will be handed out at Session 4, though it will not be the focus of the intensive. More information on All-State/Region here.
Cost: Each session is $50/individual or $90/family. Tuition due on the first day of each session.
Music will be made emailed to families 2 weeks prior to each intensive, for those who want to look at it beforehand.
Doors open 15 minutes prior to class start time. Please arrive a few minutes early to unpack and tune so we can make full use of the hour!
